Teapot Testing -- Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Teapot Testing platform, operated by W.L. Technologies LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
Eligibility
You must be a school educator or authorized administrator to use Teapot Testing. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to use and enter data on behalf of your school or district.
Account Registration and Security
- Users must create accounts to access the platform.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to notify Teapot Testing immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
Permitted Use
Teapot Testing is provided for educational purposes only. You may use the platform to:
- Create and administer assessments
- Store student information and assessment results
- Generate actionable reports to support IEPs, ALPs, READ Plans, MTSS interventions, and parent communications.
You may not:
- Sell, rent, or lease access to the platform or data
- Use the platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Data Ownership
- All student data entered in Teapot Testing remains the property of the school or district.
- Teapot Testing acts solely as a data processor; we do not use student data for marketing or other commercial purposes.
Privacy and Security
- Teapot Testing implements industry-standard safeguards, including TLS encryption, AES-256 encryption at rest, and role-based access controls.
- You acknowledge and agree to our Privacy Policy and understand how your data is stored and protected.
Intellectual Property
- All platform content, features, and functionality are owned by Teapot Testing or its licensors.
- Users may not reproduce, modify, or distribute platform content without written permission.
Limitations of Liability
- Teapot Testing is provided "as is" and without warranties, except as required by law.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
- Schools/districts are responsible for maintaining accurate student records and ensuring appropriate use.
Termination
- Teapot Testing may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
- Upon termination, schools may request secure deletion or return of their data.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of your jurisdiction without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of material changes, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
